The Power of Praise

PRAISE THE LORD FROM THE HIGHEST HEAVENS

AND FROM THE EARTH!

Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
    praise him in the heights!
 Praise him, all his angels;
    praise him, all his hosts!

 Praise him, sun and moon,
    praise him, all you shining stars!
 Praise him, you highest heavens,
    and you waters above the heavens!

 Let them praise the name of the Lord!
    For he commanded and they were created.
 And he established them forever and ever;
    he gave a decree, and it shall not pass away.

 Praise the Lord from the earth,
    you great sea creatures and all deeps,
 fire and hail, snow and mist,
    stormy wind fulfilling his word!

 Mountains and all hills,
    fruit trees and all cedars!
 Beasts and all livestock,
    creeping things and flying birds!

 Kings of the earth and all peoples,
    princes and all rulers of the earth!
 Young men and maidens together,
    old men and children!

 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
    for his name alone is exalted;
    his majesty is above earth and heaven.

 He has raised up a horn for his people,
    praise for all his saints,
    for the people of Israel who are near to him.
Praise the Lord!

THE POWER OF PRAISE!

      Beneath the veil of our mysterious world and the esoteric plane of existence lies a hidden power.  The power of praise and worship!

We live in a society where words like worship are often relegated to the closet of religious confounds and hidden away from the reality of truth to many.  In truth all people worship and bow to something, and most people serve money as if it were their god.  Not realizing that their devotion to money and their lives mission to gather it and consume through it, is just a translation into worship of it.

In Psalm 148 God of the Universe, Yahweh Elohim, shares the significance and importance of praise!  How?  Well for “starters” he requires all of the heavens and earth (everything) to praise Him.  Why?  Well, I can provide a simple answer to that but I will try to provide a more indepth and satisfying one as we examine this more; however, it’s because He is the Creator of everything and everyone.  Praise was built into the fabric and design of creation, and since we are all apart of that creation, whether we believe it or not, even whether we love and accept it or not, we are ALL created to praise and worship.  Again, it is in the design of everything.  This is why no matter who or what, there is an element of praise to something.  A quick example of this design in all things would be when Jesus replied to Pharisees, “I tell you, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”  The NLT version of the Bible says “burst into cheers!”

The detrimental aspect to this is we all do not praise God our Creator, which leaves us open to praising “things” or even “entities” that will drain us of our very life force and cause of decline, versus praising the El-ectrofying GOD that gives life, and life abundantly.  The God who created cells to consistently regenerate themselves, and the body that is in flesh to even heal itself through proper care and medicinal food that is already in the earth for us to be healed by.  God is Love!  Love is healing!

Many have an adversion to the concept of a God who wants praise and worship, but if they were whole heartedly honest with themselves, then they would realize that they are designed with praise and worship, and therefore, they will naturally praise or worship something or someone, even if it ends up being themselves.  Satan who was formerly known as Lucifer in the pre-adamic days, and even other names throughout his ancient history, was one who loved praise and worship so much that he began to want praise and worship for himself, ultimately praising and worshiping himself as glorious.  If you know anything about the age-old story regarding the fall of this cheribum angel, then you will understand where his selfishness and pride got him.  At the end of the day, praise and worship are powerful ways to invoke good or evil in your life.

Praise is a key that unlocks a door in God’s Kingdom, and worship is the same.  As we continue to investigate and uncover the hidden power of praise, both naturally and supernaturally, it will be revealed that this element can make you or break you.  This element of praise and worship will elevate you higher or bring you down to the depths.  The power of the spoken word and vibration are universal laws, and in God’s Word He says, “The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.” (Proverbs 18:21).  We will examine these things as we journey into the known and unknown worlds of “Praise and Worship!”
